When installing drivers for your Serato-compatible hardware on macOS, a pop-up similar to the screenshot below will appear, often after the driver indicates it has been installed successfully. NOTE: This doesn't affect drivers that were already installed before updating to Mojave, Catalina, or Big Sur. You may see a Failed to connect: Audio error message in Serato software, and/or you may not be able to route audio through your Serato-compatible hardware, or control various software features with your device. This security feature is present on macOS 10.13 High Sierra, macOS 10.14 Mojave, macOS 10.15 Catalina, macOS 11 Big Sur & macOS 12 Monterey, and without allowing these - your Serato compatible hardware will not work with Serato DJ software on your computer. Modern macOS iterations include a security feature that requires user approval before newly installed third-party drivers can be loaded by the operating system.
